RENTAL DAYDREAM

Affiliate Disclosure

Rental Daydream may earn money through affiliate links. This page explains how those links work and what they mean for the recommendations you find here.

Last updated: September 2026

The short version

Some links on Rental Daydream are affiliate links. If you click one and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

These commissions help support the cost of running Rental Daydream and creating new content.

Affiliate Links

Rental Daydream may participate in affiliate programs offered by retailers, brands, and affiliate networks. When you purchase a qualifying product through one of our affiliate links, we may receive a commission from the retailer or affiliate partner.

You don’t pay more because you used an affiliate link.

Not every link on Rental Daydream is an affiliate link, and not every product or solution we discuss earns us a commission.

Amazon Associates

Rental Daydream participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Some links to products on Amazon.com are affiliate links, which means Rental Daydream may earn a commission if you make a qualifying purchase through them.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

There is no additional cost to you for using these links.

Other Affiliate Programs

Rental Daydream may also participate in affiliate programs with other retailers, brands, and affiliate networks. These relationships may change over time as we add or remove partners.

Where required, sponsored content, gifted products, or other material relationships will be disclosed clearly with the relevant content.

OUR APPROACH

How We Make Recommendations

An affiliate relationship doesn’t turn every rental problem into a shopping problem.

Is this actually worth changing?

When we recommend a product or project, we consider how much difference it is likely to make, what it really costs, how difficult it is to undo, whether you can take it with you, and whether it makes sense for the time you have left in your rental.

That means the answer isn’t always a product. Sometimes it may be better to work around what you already have, ask your landlord, spend the money somewhere else, or simply leave the problem alone.

Sometimes the most useful recommendation is not to buy anything.

Prices and Product Information

Prices, availability, product specifications, and retailer policies can change over time. We try to keep the information on Rental Daydream useful and up to date, but you should always check the retailer’s current information before making a purchase.
